Niel has been a real estate broker since 1976.  Formerly a pharmacist, Niel has been a real estate investor since 1969.  He began with his own real estate company in 1976 and joined Century 21 in May 1980.  Currently, Niel is a co-owner of Century 21 Alliance, a Real Estate Brokerage company.  He is a member of San Francisco Association of Realtors and San Mateo County Association of Realtors, serving the San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.

Niel has completed the courses given by the National Association of Realtors in the field of Commercial Investment Real Estate.

Niel has an Associate in Art degree from City College of San Francisco and a pharmacist degree, having graduated from University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.  He operated the Broadmoor Pharmacy for over ten years.  He has a commercial pilot’s license; a general contractor license and was previously licensed as a real property insurance agent.  He was also a Securities Registered Principal with Series 39 Certification.

Niel has served as the Co-Cubmaster of the Cub Scout Pack 58 of Hillsborough and has assisted with Boy Scout Troop 156 of Burlingame.  He served on the Seton Medical Center Advisory Committee for more than four years.  He has been a member of Rotary International since 1983.  He has participated in and supported Little League and Soccer teams on which his son played.

Niel was a Director for the Mission Merchants Association and remains a member of the organization.  He was previously a Mobile Home Rent Review Commissioner for the City of Daly City for over seven years, as well as serving on the Jefferson School District Surplus Land Committee.  Additionally, Niel has been involved with the Concours D’Elegance Hillsborough School fund raiser and car show for the past several yours, having served on the Program Committee and the Docent Committee.  Niel was a 911 medical specialist in the US Army National Guard for six years.  Niel has been a member of the Olympic Athletic Club of San Francisco since 1975.  Niel is a licensed HAM Radio Operator.

Niel has two children, a son born in 1983 and a daughter born in 1976 and lives on the peninsula.  He enjoys real estate and spending time with his family along with golf, motorcycle riding and flying airplanes.

About Melanie M. Hildebrand

Melanie works out of our Century 21 Alliance office, a Real Estate Brokerage company as well as Hildebrand Real Estate Group, a property management company. Melanie has been in the real estate business for over 22 years and became a real estate broker in 1982. She is a member of both San Francisco Association of Realtors and the San Mateo County Association of Realtors. Melanie was formerly President of Century 21 Herd and Company Realtors, Inc. for five years and was one of the founders and former President of Century 21 Alliance. She recently sold her interest in the real estate company and the mortgage company and now works in real estate sales, consulting and management.

Melanie was also involved in the formation of Century Funding, a mortgage company. Melanie earned a Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the National Association of Realtors (CCIM) in 1988. This is a national recognized achievement in the commercial real estate industry and is equated to a graduate degree in Real Estate. Melanie is currently on the Daly City/Colma Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is a member of the City of Daly City Small Business Loan Committee and serves on a committee to manage the Daly City Small Business Center. She also serves on the San Mateo County Expo Board of Directors and the San Mateo County Association of Realtors Board of Directors. She has served on these boards for more than three years. Melanie is also a director of the California Association of Realtors, where she has served for more than three years. Melanie is co-owner of Hildebrand Properties, a property management company. She has automated all of her business interests and streamlined the accounting and management systems.

Melanie has two children, a son born in 1983 and a daughter born in 1976 and lives on the peninsula. She enjoys the real estate business and attributes much of her success in the industry to the service that she provides to her clients. Her hobbies are golfing, gardening and making leaded glass windows.
